Soap and Glory haul!

Earlier today I popped into town and went into boots to pick up a face wash as I ran out this morning. Whilst there I went to look at the Soap and Glory section and bought a few things that I thought I would share with you.

The first thing I bought was the Peaches and Clean cleansing milk. It claims to be a 4-in-1 cleanser that includes peach extract with skin smoothing fruit acids, quillaja bark, which is a natural soap, jojoba oil, to soften the skin and detoxyboost technology, which helps purify and deep clean the skin. It also claims to give a clearer, fresher and brighter complexion. I tried this when I got back to my boyfriend's house and I really like it, it doesn't lather at all on the skin and instead as a cream texture that you just massage into your face and then rinse off. The first thing I noticed about this was the scent, it smells like peaches and isn't at all artificial. I also noticed that it left my skin feeling clean and soft. It claims to be suitable for all skin types but when reading the information on the back I did notice that it contains exfoliating alpha hydroxy acids, which, sounds pretty scary so if you have sensitive skin, I would be careful with this product.

Next I bought an old favourite of mine, Clean on me shower gel, this stuff smells amazing, is very moisturising and cleans my skin really well. It's great for when your in a rush as it has body lotion built in and so you don't need to spend ages applying body creams after your shower. It lathers well on the skin and so it actually feels like it's doing more than just making you smell nice. As soon as my Snow Fairy shower gel runs out I'll be using this.

I also bought Smoothie star deep moisture body milk. This again smells amazing, and is contains almond, cocoa, yoghurt oat and honey. I haven't tried this before so I don't know how it feels on the skin but it has a thinner, consistency, that is more like a lotion than a butter, and so I imagine it will sink into the skin nice and quickly. I'm very excited to try this.

This is another old favourite, the Righteous butter, it contains shea butter and aloe vera and so is very moisturising, making it great for very dry skin. I only really use this in the winter when my skin is dryer as I think it would be too heavy for use in the summer. For anyone with dry skin I highly recommend this body butter.

I bought Sugar crush body scrub as the one I usually use was out of stock, It contains crushed brown sugar, lime, almond oil and macadamia grains. This one smells very different to the rest, because of the lime it has a very zesty, fruity fragrance that I personally love, again I can't say too much about this as I haven't tried it yet but it seems like a fairly heavy duty scrub, which I prefer as I like to feel like a scrub is actually doing something to my skin. Again I am looking forward to using this, it could well replace the scrub I usually use!
