REVIEW: Avene Gentle Gel Cleanser

As you may know, I am obsessed with skincare, it is definitely my favourite thing to splash out on, and I'm always picking up new bits and pieces. I have been wanting a new cleanser that would gently cleanse my face without completely stripping it, so I turned to Avene. For the past few years I have been using French skincare brands religiously. Brands like La Roche-Posay, Caudalie, Bioderma and Vichy are amongst my favourites, but I'd never tried Avene before, and I've been wanting to give them a go for ages.


The Avene Gentle Gel Cleanser is a gel cleanser that contains Avene thermal spring water, this ingredient is great for those with sensitive skin as it contains soothing, anti-irritating and anti- free radical properties. It also contains moisturising agents to prevent the skin drying out. Basically, this will gently cleanse your skin whilst leaving it feeling super soft. I prefer to use this cleanser in the morning, as I like a slightly stronger cleanser in the evening. I also like this as a makeup remover on days where I've worn slightly more makeup than usual, I just pop some of this on, massage it into my face, then rinse and use my normal cleanser. I am really happy with this cleanser, and I'll be buying more from Avene in the future.
